It seems like there could be some use of explaining Eisegesis vs. Exegesis. Knowing that this is an intentional strategy to use a prophet, Isaiah, to speak about cities in a country that is no where to be found in Isaiah 6. Unless you give these people a giant benefit of the doubt, the people doing this recruitment are pretend prophets, intentionally using scripture to cover wicked and destructive messages. Which is to say, false prophets that are wolves in sheeps clothing.
The recruits brought in by the religious appeal should consider the seven abominations listed in Proverbs 6:16-19.
When it became clear that the Republican Churches were going to break the wall of separation, there really should have been some push back from other religious voices.
