This is good advice! But i want to make a comment aboyt your section in which you discuss turning off the phone. Nothing you said is wrong per-se but more like what intel agencies and police look for is shifts in behavior from a baseline rather than absolute. consider the case of political organizers who all shut off a phone prior to a meeting. That indicator in and of itself among a group of ppl probably under suspicion already is itself a kind of indicator. You cant outright hide so the move is to look abnormally boring - leave you phones at homw watching a long youtube video or smth

GrapheneOS (Currently requires a Pixel device) very low friction for huge privacy gains.

I keep all my apps that require google play services or any real permission elevations in a second profile, close the profile and its like shutting the phone off.

Hardening Android is like installing patio screen doors on the outside hull of a submarine.

Odd, when I go to Ads on my Samsung Android phone, there's a caption about "managing the info used to show you ads and measure ad performance." There's no way to do anything, though. There's an info button that takes me to how Google ads work, but nothing about removing the id. I have One UI 8.5 and Android 16.

Same for me! When I go to Security and Privacy, there are options to accept new terms and conditions AND accept news/special offers and personalized ads with precise data location tracking! There is no opt out if you are to accept the terms and move on to further settings.

Is there a solution to get past the new terms and conditions that force acceptance of personalized ads and location tracking?

Great advice. I already do a lot of it but will do the rest as well. Sharing widely.
